In urgent cases, we will do our best to arrange a session and can match you with a professional photographer within as little as 4 days. For peak periods (such as weekends, public holidays, and special festivals), we suggest booking even earlier to avoid disappointment.

Can I contact the photographer after confirming the booking?

For safety and privacy reasons, once the order is confirmed, the Snapro Customer Service team will handle all initial communication regarding your requirements and details. On the day of the shoot, you will meet the photographer at the designated time and location. The service time begins from the start time confirmed in your order.

How does Snapro match me with a suitable family photographer?

We match you with the most suitable "Snapro Certified" photographer based on your date, location, style preferences, and family composition (e.g., newborns, pets, or elderly members). All our photographers have extensive experience in family photography and undergo strict vetting by the platform. If you like a specific photographer’s style after browsing our portfolio, you may note this when booking, and we will try our best to arrange it.

What is the process on the shooting day?

The photographer will arrive at the designated location on time. Upon arrival, they will briefly discuss the shooting plan with you before starting. Our photographers specialize in capturing natural interactions and will provide timely suggestions on poses to help you and your family relax and enjoy the process. Please note that the shooting duration is calculated from the scheduled start time, so please arrive on time.

What locations can be chosen for family photography?

We offer a variety of location choices, including: Outdoor parks/lawns (e.g., Central Harbourfront, Shek O, Inspiration Lake), Home-based shoots (at your residence), Professional Studios, Party Rooms, Restaurants, Hotels, or other special venues. Each location has its own character: outdoors is great for lively and natural styles, home-based is perfect for a cozy lifestyle feel, and studios are ideal for classic, formal family portraits.

Is there an extra charge for remote locations?

Accepted Answer

If the shooting location is in a remote area (defined as more than 1 hour travel time from the city center, outlying islands, or locations not directly accessible by MTR—excluding the Airport, AsiaWorld-Expo, Tung Chung, Sunny Bay, Disneyland, Lo Wu, and Lok Ma Chau), a flat remote area surcharge of HKD $200 will apply. Remote area shoots require a minimum booking of 2 hours. We recommend choosing a longer session to ensure the best results.

What happens if there is bad weather during an outdoor shoot?

In the event of extreme weather, such as a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or a Black Rainstorm Warning, you may reschedule for free. Please check the weather forecast at least 4 days before the shoot. If the weather is unsuitable, please fill out the "Change Date Form" at least 4 days in advance to reschedule. If bad weather is only confirmed 1 day prior, please contact Customer Service directly, and we will assist you with immediate rescheduling.

Can we go to other attractions to continue shooting after the main shoot?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! Many families choose to take exterior shots at nearby attractions after completing the main shoot. For example, after shooting in a park, you might move to a nearby promenade, unique architecture, or a café. Just ensure your booked duration is sufficient and inform Customer Service of the outdoor locations in advance. We recommend reserving ample time to avoid a rushed itinerary affecting the quality of the photos.

What are the environmental requirements for home-based photography?

Accepted Answer

Home-based shoots do not require a specific environment; a general home setting is suitable. Our photographers are skilled at using natural light and the on-site environment to create images. They will communicate with you beforehand to suggest the best angles and spaces. If natural light is insufficient, the photographer will bring basic lighting equipment. We suggest tidying up slightly and moving clutter out of the way before the shoot to keep the space neat.

What is included in the family photography packages? How are charges calculated?

 • Outdoor Family Photography Package ($1,399 / 1 Hour): 1 professional photographer, unlimited shooting, all      high-resolution photos, color and exposure adjustment, delivery within 2      working days.
 • Home-based Family Photography Package ($1,399 / 1 Hour): Content same as above, suitable for shooting at home.
 • Family Studio Photography Package ($3,099 / 2 Hours): 1 professional photographer, unlimited shooting, all      high-resolution photos, color and exposure adjustment, delivery within 2      working days.

Question 12

Does the package price include all fees? Are there hidden charges?

Accepted Answer

Snapro operates with transparent pricing. The package price includes the photographer's fee, basic post-production (color grading), all high-resolution photo files, and cloud delivery service. The only possible extra costs are: (1) Remote area surcharge ($200); (2) Entrance fees or venue rental costs for specific locations; (3) Overtime charges if you decide to extend the shoot (subject to photographer availability). There are no hidden fees; all costs are clearly stated upfront.

Question 13

Is one hour of shooting time enough? How many photos can be taken?

Accepted Answer

One hour is usually sufficient for most families of 4-6 people, typically resulting in about 100 or more high-resolution photos. If you have a larger family (over 8 people), need to move between locations, or wish to shoot multiple scenes/outfits, we recommend choosing a package of 2 hours or more for a more relaxed experience and richer results.

How is it handled if we need to extend the shooting time?

Accepted Answer

Overtime is charged on an hourly basis. The photographer will confirm with you before the time runs out and will only continue upon your agreement; they will never charge without permission. You can purchase additional hours instantly on the platform, subject to the photographer's schedule that day. We recommend booking a longer session initially to avoid the stress of adding time last minute.

Question 15

Is there a limit on the number of family members? Is there an extra charge for more people?

Accepted Answer

There is no limit on the number of people; family and friends are welcome to join. However, to ensure photo quality and that everyone gets enough photos, if there are more than 6 people, we suggest booking an extra photographer or increasing the shooting duration. This ensures a good outcome for everyone, though it is not mandatory. Multi-generational families are particularly suited for the 2-hour studio package.

How long after the shoot will I receive the photos? How are they delivered?

Accepted Answer

You will receive an email with a link to an online album within 2 working days after the shoot. You can download all high-resolution JPEG photos directly. A 1-hour session typically yields 100 or more photos. All photos are delivered via a cloud album for easy downloading and sharing with friends and family.

Question 17

Will the delivered photos be post-processed? What level of retouching is included?

Accepted Answer

All delivered photos are processed by our professional post-production team. This includes image enhancement (overall color adjustment, exposure adjustment, color correction, skin tone correction, and cropping). We do not perform excessive processing (such as heavy skin smoothing, body reshaping, object removal, or adding special effects), focusing instead on highlighting natural beauty. If you need advanced retouching for specific photos, please contact Customer Service for a quote.

Question 18

Can I request the unprocessed RAW files?

Based on our post-production workflow and professional standards, we generally do not provide unprocessed RAW files. The delivered high-resolution JPEG files are professionally color-graded and sufficient for various printing needs, including clear prints on 60x90cm canvases. Please download the files using a laptop or desktop computer to obtain the highest resolution.

How is it handled if I need to reschedule due to personal reasons? Is there a fee?

If you need to reschedule due to a personal emergency, the first change incurs a fee of $200, and the new date must be within 30 days of the original date. Please fill out the "Change Date Form" at least 2 days before the shoot. If the notice is given less than 2 days in advance, please contact Customer Service directly; we may handle it at our discretion but cannot guarantee success. A second or subsequent rescheduling will incur an administrative fee of 25% of the original order price (minimum $200).

Can a confirmed booking be cancelled?

To protect the interests of both photographers and consumers, we do not have a cancellation policy. Paid orders cannot be cancelled but dates can be modified. Please confirm your schedule before submitting an order. If rescheduling is required due to the photographer or force majeure, it is free of charge. Orders involving tickets or venue rentals do not support changes to the date or venue.

What if we are late on the shooting day?

To avoid affecting the photographer’s subsequent schedule, please arrive at the location on time. If you are late, we cannot provide extra free shooting time. However, subject to the photographer's availability, you may request to purchase overtime on the platform. We recommend booking a package with 1 hour more than you think you need to account for traffic delays or other unexpected situations.

What if the photographer cannot attend or there is a sudden emergency?

Snapro has a professional team of photographers and a robust backup mechanism. If your booked photographer cannot attend due to serious illness or force majeure, we guarantee to immediately arrange a "Snapro Certified" photographer of equal or higher seniority to replace them, ensuring your family shoot proceeds smoothly and your important moment is not affected. This is one of the core guarantees of the Snapro platform.

Question 23

What should we wear on the shooting day? What should we prepare?

Accepted Answer

We recommend wearing clothes that you feel comfortable in and that suit the shooting scene. Many families choose coordinated color schemes (not necessarily identical outfits) to create harmony. Avoid clothing that is too busy or has large reflective areas. If shooting outdoors, consider the weather and terrain, and bring comfortable shoes. If there is a special theme (e.g., a festival or birthday), you can prepare relevant props. We will provide outfit suggestions before the shoot.

Does the service include makeup or styling?

Home-based shoots are especially suitable for families with newborns or toddlers, as children feel more secure in a familiar environment. We recommend choosing a time when the child is most alert (usually morning or after a nap) and preparing their favorite toys or snacks. The photographer will patiently guide the session to capture the most natural and sincere moments.

No need to worry at all! Our photographers are "Snapro Certified" professionals skilled in guiding natural interactions and poses. They will provide professional advice based on your family composition, the scene, and your style preferences. We focus on genuine emotional expression rather than stiff posing, guiding you and your family through natural interactions (like holding hands while walking, hugging, or playing games) to capture sincere smiles and movements.

What payment methods are accepted? Do I need to pay the full amount at once?

We accept various payment methods, including Credit Card, Bank Transfer, FPS, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. To ensure your booking is secured, we require full payment to lock in the photographer's schedule. Once payment is complete, you will receive an order confirmation email, and our Customer Service team will contact you to confirm the details.
